Exhibition Location : Slovak Cultural Institute in Prague | Hybernsk\u00e1 1, Prague 1 <\/p>\n

The traveling group exhibition “HEROINES” with the subtitle “My Personal Female Hero” presents various stories of personal heroines, told by Slovak female painters, across several generations of Slovak contemporary painting. Through their artworks, women artists present stories of women they admire, analyze, and metaphorically depict to tell the story of each of us. The exhibition features a selection of figurative paintings on canvas and other media (paper, tablecloth, plywood).<\/p>\n

The exhibition was first presented at the Slovak Cultural Institute in Jerusalem, later continued to the Slovak Institute in Berlin, and ended its journey in Prague in the beautiful premises of the Slovak Cultural Institute in the city center near the Powder Tower. The exhibition is on view until 31.5.2024<\/p>\n
